Ibiza Markets: Las Dalias

Zone hotels
Zona: Outskirts Santa Eulalia

Description

Las Dalias was built in 1954 and in the beginning comprised only a roadside bar and a dance hall. As years went by a restaurant was added which can still be enjoyed today, as well as a garden where small markets currently take place.

Saturday market stalls
Every Saturday since 1985, from 10.00 a.m until 8.00 p.m, a crowd of artisans and sellers get together in the Dalias gardens.

As well as buying craftwork, clothing, jewellery, CD's, fragrances, paintings, etc., it is also possible to go to get a massage or your palm read.

There is also a typical native restaurant, a tapas bar, a natural fruit juice outlet or visit a nocturnal Bedouin tent with the offer of a tea shop.

Night time is where it comes alive in the "Soul Bar" where the Pasha DJ's put on music until the market closes.

Night Markets (Mondays)

Monday evening sees a more relaxed version of the classic market where you can choose the best stalls selected for their quality. As well as the stalls you can take it easy in the Bedouin tent or eat in the restaurant which on this occasion is put up beneath the gardens' vineyard.

Christmas Market
From around the 12th of December until Christmas Eve the visitor can enjoy a fifty stall market (less than in summer). It is also possible to visit during the ‘Three wise men’ celebration, from the 27th of December until January 5th.
